About Singer Island, FL

Singer Island is part of a barrier island that sits between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway in South Florida. It is located just south of Juno Beach, east of North Palm Beach and north of Palm Beach. It was originally part of Palm Beach, but split when the Palm Beach Inlet was created. The community is part of the city of Riviera Beach.

The island was named after Paris Singer of the Singer Sewing Machine family. Paris Singer planned to create a resort-style development on the island with luxury hotels and golf courses. Although his plans never came to fruition, Singer Island did evolve into an upscale picturesque community with some of Florida’s most spectacular real estate.
