Admirals Cove
The initial residents of Admirals Cove began their move-in process during the winter season of 1987-88. In 1988, significant milestones were reached with the opening of both the marina and the 18-hole championship (east) golf course. For the initial two years, the Harbor Master building served as a makeshift clubhouse, bridging the gap until the completion of the permanent clubhouse in 1989.
From its inception, the club was always intended to be member-owned and officially became an equity club in 1988. Throughout the 1990s, negotiations unfolded between developers and resident/members. These discussions eventually culminated in a momentous transition to full member equity ownership in November 1999.
Since this pivotal transition, the club has embarked on numerous improvements and upgrades. Among these, the most noteworthy was a comprehensive renovation that encompassed the clubhouse porte cochère, spa, and wellness center, all of which were successfully completed in early 2020. Today, Admirals Cove stands as a testament to the visionary ideals of both MacArthur and Frankel. It also stands as a tribute to the dedicated residents who have played an integral role in shaping this extraordinary and distinctive community.
